The Annual Convention and Fundraiser will be taking place on March 17th to 20th in Victoria, British Columbia.
This years sponsors include Yukon Outfitters Association, Mountain Hunter, Guide Outfitters, Association of MacKenzie Mountains Outfitters, and GO ABC TV.

Come to Victoria in the Spring 2010
The Guide Outfitters Association of British Columbia would like to invite you to have a great time with us in Victoria. The city has historic sites, numerous shops, tree-lined avenues and an intriguing waterfront to explore. Our conference is held in the famous Fairmont Empress Hotel.
Our AGM commences on Wednesday afternoon and goes through to noon Friday. Friday morning we host our Life Members at a breakfast “fit for kings”. Friday afternoon the golfers head out for the Grizzly Open golf tournament fraught with the danger of laughing so much you can’t hit a ball. You will laugh too, when you join some of our outfitters whose idea of golf has something to do with ‘horseapples’ and willow sticks.
Friday evening we take entertainment to new heights every year with certain outfitters performing wearing red tutus for a ballet, or belly dancing, or tricycle races, or participating in the best reality show in North America. It’s a time to get to know the members who have generously donated trips to be auctioned; a time to renew old acquaintances; and best of all, a time to make new friends and exchange hunting stories.
Saturday morning starts your day with a champagne and orange juice brunch - orange juice is very healthy. See who gets the awards for the most exceptional trophies taken in BC this past season, who had an exceptional hunt and whose hunt was considered one of the most exceptional accomplishments of the year, during the Mountain Hunter Record Book Awards. We also feature our many local and international conservation organizations. The Auction Fundraiser is your opportunity to buy a great trip, a single piece of original art, some totally useful collectable or maybe a gorgeous gift for the lady of your life. You may find the hunt, fishing trip, or wilderness adventure of a lifetime right here - each and every trip is among the best each outfitter has to offer.
Saturday evening enjoy the impeccable banquet service at the grand Empress Hotel and help us honor our special friends, then dance the night away to the legendary sound of Lee Dinwoodie in the best country & western style around.
